Cover of Virginia Wildlife Magazine Annual Photography Showcase Issue

July 01, 2022

I am very thrilled and proud that my image of Red Fox Kit Looking Up to Momma Vixen has been chosen to be the cover image of the annual photography showcase July/August 2022 issue of Virginia Wildlife magazine.

According to Virginia Wildlife magazine, the Annual Photography Showcase is offered each year as a way to recognize the rich heritage of Virginia’s wildlife and natural resources and pay tribute to the mission of the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources (DWR).

This image of the Red Fox Kit Looking Up to Momma Vixen was photographed last year on Mother’s Day, May 9, 2021.

In addition, one of my brown pelican head throw silhouette images was published in this issue of Virginia Wildlife magazine.

Let’s preserve and conserve our natural world!!!

Thank you for reading my Field Notes Blog, and I hope you will share this post with others.

All the very best,
